OUR Mission

The Development Office of Ilia State University is the university’s central hub for fostering institutional growth and international engagement.

Its mission is to expand institutional academic and research horizons by securing diverse funding sources, facilitating partnerships, and strengthening teaching, earning and research in line with global standards.

What We Do

Supports EU and international projects – from idea generation to proposal writing, submission, and implementation.
Builds and manages partnerships with universities, research centers, organizations, and industry — locally and internationally.
Diversifies resources by identifying and securing external funding, grants, and third-party support.
Guides project administration — ensuring compliance with donor, treasury, and university regulations, and managing reporting and audits.
Empowers faculty, researchers, and staff through consultations, training, and technical assistance on proposal development and project management.
Promotes Iliauni’s expertise and strategic initiatives across international platforms, strengthening its reputation and visibility.
